Robin Mulhauser to replace Randy Krummenacher in Aragón
Ruled out of the GP of Aragon, Randy Krummenacher will be replaced by Robin Mulhauser for this occasion.
21 year-old Robin from Locarno (Swiss province of the Tessin canton) started to race in 2007 in Swiss pocket bike junior. Currently participating in the European Superstock 600 championship, he stood on the third step of the podium in Silverstone (England) and currently lies 7th in the overall championship classification.
At the beginning of September Robin was invited together with some other riders for a one-day test on the circuit Paul Ricard in Castellet. Having felt comfortable with out bike, we decided to give him this possibility to take a step further in this experience and replace injured Randy Krummenacher.
Fred Corminboeuf : "We invited Robin Mulhauser to test with our squad on a naturally higher level. The objective for him is to continue learning with our bike. In fact, during the test on 5 September, Robin showed us his potential. Gilles Bigot, our chief technician, as well as Matthieu Grodecoeur enjoyed working with this rider with much enthusiasm. Our permanent rider not being able to take part this time, we have allowed a young Swiss rider to participate for the first time in a Moto2 race."
